It is our solemn duty to report that one of our own, has moved on to the Post everlasting, our
Post historian Charles Brown passed on Friday, September 30, 2022.
This is a great loss to not just our Post and the American Legion, but to the Sherman City / Grayson County Community and most important a great loss to his Family. We ask all to keep the Brown Family in your thoughts and Prayers during this trying time.
The Family has informed us that the Celebration of Life Visitation will be Monday October 3rd from 6pm to 8pm.
The Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday October 4th 2022 at 1pm
These both will be held at Fairview Baptist Church

As the Post Commander of Post 29, and post member, I can say knowing Charles Brown has been an honor. His love of community service inspired me from the first time I met him.
Thank you Charle for being who you were.
